The Tunnel

The tunnel was pitch black, and I could feel the cobwebs on my face and slim under my hands but i pushed myself to continue if I didn't he would kill me. "Kara," his voice called behind me. I froze and than picked up my pace. I saw the light before me and he gaining foot steps behind me. If i can just reach the light I'll be safe. I was just about to climb out of the tunnel when he grabbed me from behind placing a hand over my mouth. I threw my weight back and bit his hand he let me go for a brief moment and in that moment I screamed for help. I blacked out before I tell if anyone heard my scream.
